I have a passion for learning new things. It opens my eyes and expands my horizon to different parts of the world. My first bachelor degree was from Shanghai - University of International Business and Economics with a major in Business Administration; then I moved to California to study Psychology at University of California San Diego and received my second bachelor degree there. Third and most recently, I graduated with distinction from Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden) with a master degree in Medical Science - specialize in Global Health. In between my education, I worked, travelled, learned a few languages, even published a paper on the Journal of Public Health (Oxford University), and in 2021 I gave birth to a baby boy. After becoming a mother, I continued to travel and educate myself, for example, I spent three months in Italy with my family as part of our parental leave, enrolled myself in an Italian language course and a portrait painting course in Florence. At the end of the courses, I reached B2 for Italian and completed 12 portraits. My long term goal is to combine my international and diverse educational background, with my communication and management skills, to promote health and well-being in different parts of the world. On the other hand, I want to continue to develop as an individual and follow my passion for art and languages and different cultures. Last but not least, I want to be a devoted and inspiring mother for my son to show him that there is a whole world of possibilities out there waiting for him to discover. As 2024 knocks on the door, I feel the energy of an exciting new beginning. Already at the end of 2023, I successfully completed the intensive German course (B2 level) at Goethe Institute while working part-time teaching yoga, Chinese and painting, and being a mother. There's no doubt that I have become an expert of multi-tasking and time management. Now that my son is turning three years old, I am open to more job opportunities in the following fields: health care, business administration/management, museums and art galleries, yoga studios. As an entrepreneur, I want to mention that private clients are welcome to contact me for individual or group lessons in mandarin Chinese, yoga, or painting. I'm fluent in Chinese and English, level B2 in Italian and German, C1 in Swedish. Certified yoga instructor.
