Aspiring health policy researcher concurrently pursuing a Health Management and Policy MPH and a Southeast Asian Studies MA at the University of Michigan. My research interests include the intersection of demographic transition, climate change, and development in mainland Southeast Asia, particularly Cambodia. I plan to apply my skills in qualitative research toward a career in development consulting with a focus on health systems and adaptation to a changing world.I have traveled to Cambodia to participate in field training for qualitative research and to conduct fieldwork on the impacts of the ecotourism industry and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic; the data will be used in my final M.A. thesis. I have intermediate proficiency in Khmer and experience in conducting interviews with everyday people and local power brokers at my field sites.
