Research Area: Adversarial Machine Learning▪ Actively worked on building two scalable systems that aim to detect audio adversarial examples (AEs) within the automatic speech recognition (ASR) domain, under the immense support and advisement of Dr. Qiang Zeng.

Humans And Technology Laboratory (Hatlab)

▪Co-maintainer of the HATLAB research website: www.hatlab.org, a collaborative space for students, faculty, and researchers to explore various aspects of human interactions with technology. Focus areas include human-centered computing (HCC), human factors, human-computer interaction (HCI), health informatics, usable privacy and security, privacy-enhancing technologies, empirical methods, and designing for special populations.▪ Maintained up-to-date knowledge of research trends and advancements in HCI through participating in lab discussions, as well as attending and presenting in seminars and workshops.▪ Assisted in various stages of research projects, including experiment design, data collection, user studies, data analysis, and result interpretation, and contributed to the development of software prototypes and interactive systems, involving programming, interface design, and usability testing.▪ Conducted data analysis tasks, coding qualitative and quantitative data, running statistical analyses, and interpreting results using tools such as Python and R.▪ Collaborated effectively with interdisciplinary team members from diverse backgrounds including computer science, psychology, design, and human factors, and additionally contributed to writing research papers and project reports, including drafting sections, creating visualizations, and presenting findings.
