    Contract Manager : DPV Health December 2018 to present DPV Health is a large not for profit healthcare provider across Northern region in Victoria. Dianella Health and Plenty Valley health merged and are now operating as DPV Health with 19 sites across Victoria. DPV Health offers various Healthcare services to community including Medical, Dental, Allied Health, NDIS, Youth, Children’s, Disability and several support programs throughout Hume and Whittlesea areas. My position as Contract Manager is to support all departments and teams within the business, providing advice and support where required on contractual matters. I am working to implement the roll out of a new software system that will assist to efficiently manage all contractual agreements including: Supplier/Contractor agreements, lease agreements, funding agreements, GP Agreements and registrations. This roll out is almost completed and will ensure improvement and efficiencies in the management of all contracts, expiry dates and reporting within in the organization, allowing for future growth. Since the merge, many services have been reviewed to streamline services & supplies wherever possible through one preferred supplier, instead of 2-3 suppliers. New contractual agreements have been formalised allowing clear communications on frequency of services, along with consistencies in quality of supplies and cost efficiencies through one preferred supplier. Achievements: I have reviewed several areas to ensure cost savings without compromising quality. I continue to support team through challenges including recently COVID19 that has impacted on all lives. In support to teams, I monitored and supplied vital PPE equipment throughout period where supplies were difficult to obtain. I am for high standards and positive outcomes for DPV Health, continuously review with teams, and make changes to create a strong platform on how contacts and suppliers are managed.

Initially there were 9 facilities across Qld and Vic however being a family owned business the decision was made to sell 7 of the aged care homes, also Qld and Vic sites would operate independently. Embracia also built a new home in Queensland which I was responsible to purchase all requirements ensuring that valued residents and staff requirements would be met to a high standard, in a timely manner for the opening of new home. I was responsible to managing all supplier agreements across 10 aged care sites including Geelong region. In addition I was responsible for total fit out & requirements for new homes as TLC expanded in industry. Some of services also were performance managed also to ensure that services were to a high standard and in accordance to supplier agreements. In particular food and catering services. The review of the catering services by going through tender process allowed for major savings to be achieved across 10 sites (up to $500K) per annum. I believe the procurement process is a vital part of any business to ensure services are reviewed regularly and up to date with market and meeting all requirements as set out in contractual agreements. The savings to any organization when operations run smoothly and best outcomes are achieved is invaluable. TLC Aged care taught me the value of working as team and having mutual respect for each other which inspires one to accomplish so much more. TLC encouraged education and allowed me the opportunity to complete Project management course through AWBT. I was honored to receive award for best submitted project for the year throughout Australia. I was awarded a prize of $500 and also allowed the opportunity to complete Advance diploma in Project management which I successfully completed.
