Volunteer Events Organiser for Dear Community, a non-profit dedicated to empowering young women and addressing mental health. I am involved in executing impactful events in Ōtautahi and improving wellbeing outcomes.

Resident council liaises with the I-House Board and the Center for Intercultural Leadership and Programs. We foster a safe and inclusive I-House, address resident concerns and organize events. As Communications Officer, I managed online media, strategised transparency and accountability policies, acted as a spokesperson for the council and was part of organising the Resident Benefit Concert.

Part-time Sales Assistant - responsible for sales, register, using POS, meeting targets, over-seeing fitting rooms, cleaning, prepping new stock, grooming clothing and styling customers.

Climate Clinic is a VUW student organisation that engages determined students seeking to address the challenges posed by climate change. Students of all academic backgrounds are involved to seek diverse and intersectional approaches to combat the climate crisis. As Events Officer I was involved in organising clothing drives, quiz nights and events to increase awareness and engagement in Climate Clinic.

The ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is ASEM‘s official Youth platform that connects young people with the Heads of States and Governments from 51 Asian & European countries and the political Leaders of the EU & the ASEAN Secretariat. During the 10-month-long summit, I was involved in SDG13: Higher Education for Climate Action - initiatives to improve waste management on University campuses.

Leadership Committee member offering a youth perspective on TPP decisions. Involved during Jacinda Ardern’s commitment to free sanitary products in schools, I created digital community groups, wrote and assisted for the podcast, and offered resources for school education. I was also part of local outreach work with The Warehouse's partnership to eliminate period inequity in Aotearoa by 2030.

The program enhances mutual understanding and cooperation between youth internationally, improves problem-solving skills, critical thinking, cultural awareness, and elevates the ability of young people to be leaders and ambassadors. As exchange participants, we discussed issues of civic engagement, leadership, conflict resolution, positive change, and designed our own community improvement projects.
