As a student researcher in the Surface Chemistry Group of the Department of Physical Chemistry and Materials Science, I aquired comprehensive knowledge and experience about interfacial phenomena and their investigative methodologies. My research focuses on biomass-based activated carbons with particular interest in their potential applications in environmental remediation processes and electrocatalytic solutions.

During this summer internship, I had the opportunity to gain insight into the workflow of area classification, explosion protection design concepts and electrostatic charge protection. I was actively involved in larger projects, some of which I prepared, and I also carried out several smaller or larger tasks independently.
