I have joined Irricon as the first member of the North Island team. I have a Bachelor of Technology Degree from Massey University and am a Professional Member of the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand (MIPENZ) and a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).I have experience with resource consent applications and Overseer nutrient budgeting and have completed the Advanced Nutrient Management course at Massey University. I am currently studying for an Agribusiness Diploma and until recently lived on a 1500ha sheep and beef farm in Matawai, near Gisborne. I have a practical understanding of dairy and drystock farming practices and horticulture and can apply this to emerging freshwater management issues and work with you to achieve environmental sustainability and compliance for your farming or horticultural operation.

I have worked for Fonterra for 14 years, firstly as a Process Engineer and then for the last 7 years as a Senior Environmental Engineer. This involved providing technical expertise for Fonterra's NZ manufacturing wastewater treatment and irrigation systems. I have experience with resource consents, environmental management systems and auditing to ISO14001 as well as nutrient management on farms and training operators. I am a qualified auditor, training assessor and nutrient management advisor.
