-Mentored first year college students taking “The Mighty Mitochondria” of introductory biology (Bio-150-02) at Grinnell College-Collaborated with Professor Hershberger to show students how to use the model organism C. elegans to explore the relationship between mitochondrial function and whole animal physiology-Planned mentor sessions in which I reviewed class concepts with students through guided practice-Assisted students in developing skills in reading primary literature, making, and testing hypothesis, and communicating their results through written articles and oral presentations

-Graded assignments including problem sets for Professor Thatcher’s CHM129 class via Gradescope

-Attended and documented notes for virtual meetings concerning Houston Public Safety such as city council, town halls, and committee meetings-Helped support the Smart Justice Policy and Advocacy Department by completing various tasks and participating in weekly ACLU meetings-Created a living document called “How to/Character List Index” for the future interns taking on the same role to ease the transition
