-Exposed to many innovative sustainability practices through weekly meetings with Pittsburgh 2030 District partners. -Reviewed various company’s Energy Star reports and discussed current/future plans to further reduce energy and water consumption.-Developed a deeper understanding of how HVAC systems link to sustainability.-Transitioned the collection of meeting records from an analog to a digital process.-Updated our data records and created calculations to aid in data querying.-Compiled data from the 2030 district and evaluated Pittsburgh’s progress in comparison.-Wrote a research paper on strategies to reduce energy waste through plug loads.-Travelled and attended sustainability workshops to see how our partners implement sustainable practices within the community.I greatly enjoyed my time at GBA, and I'm grateful for all the knowledge and memories I gained!

First Rotation: (Fall 2021)-Designed and 3D printed tooling to prevent movement of parts while the product is being printed on.-Increased production productivity by organizing a more efficient fixture storage method.-Problem-solved ways to eliminate an issue of the curvature of the boards.Second Rotation:- Redesigned safety sensors to be more efficient and use 70% less time and ABS.- Led a project to mass produce 150 safety sensor kits including: ordering parts, wiring and soldering, instructing a team to help assemble components, outsourcing parts, shipping materials, presenting progress updates, meeting project deadlines, and traveling out of the county to lead a team in installing this safety equipment.- Worked alongside an automation team to develop much more efficient methods for drinkware production. Third Rotation:- Saved 20 seconds of set-up time per machine by designing a new attachment style for embroidery equipment to be much more efficient and ergonomic.- Designed a universal tooling to greatly reduce the number of steps during setup for each product.- Automated a machine to consistently mark pens without the need for an operator. I’m so thankful to have gained such valuable engineering experience through three rotations with PCNA. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in various systems, roles, and interactions with diverse problem-solving scenarios.

I worked at this sleepaway Camp for 3 years. I worked at an activity site called Rocks and Ropes. I was belay certified and skilled with many different knots to ensure safety. I could set up and run the zipline and problem-solve from 40ft in the air. I supervised a cabin of 9-year-olds and led team-building activities. This helped develop my communication and leadership skills.

At Moku Bowls I worked in food service where I prepped and served food. I got experience with communicating with many different customers.
