• I worked on a monitoring project with a partner to assess the condition and treatment needs of Eucephalus vialis (Bureau sensitive plant) at Upper Willamette Resource Area in Eugene, Oregon. In doing this project, I:
• Developed a protocol for data collection on the phenology and number of individuals, presence of herbivory, associated species, and potential threats to E. vialis population
• Identified and collected vegetation data on E. vialis, took environmental measurements for solar analyses using a Solar Pathfinder and a solar meter, and evaluated site characteristics
• Established consultative and collaborative relationships with field specialists and generalists to include other ecological factors in the habitat restoration management.
• Prepared site-specific restoration management plans in a written report and presented findings orally to the Upper Willamette Multi-Resource Team
• Mapped the extent of E. vialis populations using a GPS and entered data into databases using GeoBOB and ArcGIS
