Responsibilities: Cooking and preparing food as directed according to established recipes, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions.Cleaning, cuts, and cooks all food products as assigned, including meat, fish, poultry, starches, and vegetables.Preparing appropriate garnishes; garnishes foods.Cleaning, sets up, and breaks down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.Operating kitchen, line equipment and machinery according to established safety procedures.Incorporating unused food safely into future food production.Covering, labels, and dates all food products, and follows all food safety rules for proper storage.Setting up serving lines.Monitoring and records temperatures of foods stored in refrigeration, in hot boxes, and on the serving line to ensure safe temperatures.Operating as FOH staff during business hours, in all areas of service including barista.Assisting in menu creation and ingredient selection.Creation of numerous seasonal and special offerings.Additional Duties: Monitoring accuracy of recipes; communicating discrepancies to production manager.Producing production records, as directed. My responsibilities include sales work as well as event technician work.As a Technician, I pull and check inventory before it is loaded and then usually accompany it to the event site where it is unloaded and installed. I am also involved in the uninstall/return-to-stock process.While working in Sales, I contact vendors, venues, and planners to develop relationships for Ampa. Our goal is to be the go-to for putting on stunning events, and I help in getting the word out of the ways we can do just that.

Further, I serve portions of my business hours shifts as Leader on Duty, focusing on customer service/satisfaction and maintaining GOR (grand opening ready) appearance of main aisle and floor displays.

I oversee the construction, painting, installation and maintenance/upkeep of sets, lighting and sound equipment for theatrical productions. In addition I perform various manual tasks around the Theatre Department on an as-needed basis.

As an actor, I appeared in As You Like It and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In addition to appearing onstage, I worked in the scene shop in the construction and subsequent strike of the sets.

As one of the students in our Work Study Program, I am employed by my Theatre Department's Scenery Schop along with 5-6 others. Building scenery, maintaining the stage and theatre proper, working with/on the lights and working in whatever backstage capacity is needed in show's I am not in make up the bulk of our responsibilities.
