Let’s Talk Science Sandy Lake! (LTS-SL) Summer Camp is an outreach initiative with the aim of getting the youth of Sandy Lake First Nation excited about science, and in particular, nutrition, exercise physiology, and overall health. We organized a day camp program consisting of interactive learning, games, and outdoor excursions. This pilot project was highly successful - strong connections have been maintained with Sandy Lake First Nation, and the summer program is ongoing.
