In my customer support role, I was the first line of contact with customers who had feedback and complaints over multiple platforms including email, phone and social media. My time in customer support really cemented in me the importance of creating an ideal customer experience at every touch point to promote brand loyalty and image.Influencer marketing role entailed finding, corresponding with and tracking performance of influencers. When I took over this role the business was sending 20 promotional boxes a month, after I took over we were sending 70 a month.

Bua Group is a face-to-face marketing company that predominantly works with sports companies and charities. I worked across Peter Mac and The Fred Hollows campaigns. This role included meeting KPI's, sales targets as well as employing various sales techniques. I believe this role also helped hone my strong communication skills as they are vital for a role in sales. As apart of the work integrated learning program at Monash University I completed an internship with Monash College in their marketing department. The placement was extremely valuable as it gave me a broad but insightful experience into the marketing industry. During my time as a marketing intern, I undertook tasks including but not limited to; content planning, market/competitor research, web updates and marketing collateral creation.Overall, the Monash College team provided great guidance and feedback that I will apply to all future roles. The placement experience makes me confident that I will be able to succeed in a marketing role as a graduate.

I initially started as a cashier however over the years I took on greater responsibility as a shift supervisor. Duties included overseeing cashier, Tattslotto and liquor departments, training staff, cash management, and cashing out Tattslotto. I worked for IGA for 6 years which demonstrates my reliability and commitment as a worker.
