Work with the CTS department to ensure all daily operations run smoothly. Wide range of work tasks from updating the database and excel sheets to printing and organizing material for events. Opportunities to assist all projects housed through CTS.

Assist CTS in organizing and managing their annual transportation camp. Duties range from building robots, making spreadsheets, and following daily schedules to setting up activities, monitoring 30 students, and providing a safe place for learning.

Lead swim instructor for Beacons summer camp located at Franklin Middle School. Ages range from first to ninth grade and all swimming capabilities. Work with groups and individuals to learn or improve swimming skills and facilitate healthy interactions in water.

Assisting with the international grant writing for Wildflower Home Foundation, a shelter for children and single mothers. Observe all career and economic trainings as well as participate in some English/Thai classes. Main focus is to work on intercultural exchange and translation between Thai and English through professional and formal channels, including but not limited to project reports, grant applications, marketing, and social media.

Assist the professors with testing homework/lab assignments, grading students work, answering student questions, and helping facilitate and encourage student learning of course material throughout the semester. All work is done in Python.

My job as a behavioral coder is to watch videos of family members interacting and rate the behaviors according to the coding manual provided through the ADAPT project. This requires knowledge about both research processes and about healthy family interactions from evidence-based practices. Coding is done individually and we are expected to follow all protocols and guidelines of the project (ie being HIPAA compliant).

As VP of Service I coordinate all the service events our chapter has. Ranging from trash clean ups to meal packaging to card making. Because of everything being online, many of our events shifted towards education about important topics, partnering with local organizations and providing a space for members to learn about social justice topics that interest them.

APO service fraternity which focuses on three pillars; service, leadership, and fellowship. Throughout the semester we must complete a certain number of hours of each, activities can range from watching a movie with fellow members to volunteering at a food shelf.

Responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating all lifeguards employed at the Edina Aquatic Center throughout the pool season. Along with training we are tasked with helping set up the facility for the season and making sure that all equipment and safety procedures are ready. Constant promotion of safety and vigilance and instructing all lifeguards to perform at the highest level of professionalism to ensure safety of all guests.

Monitored and patrolled facility and pool area to ensure safety of guests. I routinely completed safety trainings as well as helped lead training exercises to keep mine and my coworkers skills sharp. Learned to effectively communicate with guests about facility rules and policies along with having to problem solve and adapt to external forces like the weather.

Responsible for all aspects of daily infant care of a 4 month old. This consisted of feeding, changing diapers, maintaining daily routine, and having fun with the child. Had to adapt to new demands of child as they got older and developed further.

I taught kids of all ages and ability different swimming strokes and techniques as well as got them accustomed to being in the water. Routinely gave progress reports to parents as well as the child to focus on what they did well and what needed more work. Kept a friendly and fun environment while also keeping students on task and engaged.

Consisted of calling alumni of the University of Minnesota to update their information, inform them about different programs and events going on, and fundraising for those programs and events. Learned crucial skills about fundraising, but also how to connect with someone over the phone in a short amount of time.
