Analyze and execute purchase requests, prepare and issue Requests For Quotation (RFQ) to qualified bidders. Evaluate bid quotations for responsiveness to RFQ’s considering factors including commercial terms and conditions,price, delivery, financial status, technical capabilities, quality control and geographical location of shipping point. Responsible for all aspects of purchase order management. Reconcile problem invoices related to purchase orders, respond and resolve any issues that may arise during and after order placement.

• Initiates contact with suppliers/vendors to review purchase orders and establish contacts for project duration• Expedite suppliers for on time deliveries for assigned projects based on technical specifications• Maintain, follow-up and control supplier contractual agreed dates which includes inspection, delivery and payment milestones.• Coordinates and assists with pre-fabrication meetings• Interfaces with project teams and vendors to ensure all purchase order requirements are met Including final documentation and inspection release has been issued• Confirms purchase order progress payments and provides back-up documentation • Issue shipping release - contacts jobsites in preparation of shipment arrival
