About Lillian Pearson

Lillian Pearson is a content developer of environmental science curriculum and installations with a background in geological research. While at NatureBridge, Lillian was the project manager for the development of exhibits and curriculum for the new Climate Change Lab (Climate Solutions Lab) -a space dedicated to helping youth learn about and create promising solutions for the climate crisis. Lillian's work in climate change education centers on the goal of inspiring hope in the future through promoting action and celebrating stories of climate success, while also allowing space to validate challenges ahead. Emerging from a campus shut-down during the Covid-19 pandemic at NatureBridge, Lillian led the restart of a 700-gallon educational touch tank lab and managed all aspects of tank maintenance. Through her work Lillian inspires curiosity in science for people of all backgrounds and empowers them to believe that anyone can be a scientist in their daily lives.Lillian holds a MS in Marine Science & Geological Oceanography from the University of Southern Mississippi and a BA (Geology) from Carleton College. Lillian has experience in environmental science education, micro and invertebrate paleontology, coastal hazards research, natural resource monitoring, natural history collections curation, intertidal species collection, and aquarium management.
