I moved to Shin Yokohoma, Japan to lead and implement this sales project with Kärcher by driving profit and growth through increased sales productivity. Clearly defining the go-to-market strategy based on channel capabilities and economics was crucial to this project's success, and I built sustainable commercial capabilities in both direct and indirect sales teams, key account management, and sales support through various workshops and the sales excellence analytics approach.In addition, I also developed strategic project management for activities related to Kärcher’s Sales Excellence model. This included generating key business insights through the design, measurement and reporting of KPIs, using dashboards to track sales effectiveness, program effectiveness, and adoption and use of sales tools.

There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing salespeople grasp a concept and run with it to create strategies that improve profit margins. In this role, I collaborated with managing directors and sales leaders in Kärcher subsidiaries around the world to identify concrete measures and customer opportunities that would drive profitable growth through increased sales efficiency and margins.I also spearhead the segmentation of customers by value, interaction needs, and allocation of customer accounts to channels and sales models. This improved efficiency for the sales teams significantly, leading to increased profit margin while providing a sustainable framework for future growth.
