- Manage a team of 175+ employees, by engaging in meaningful conversations and providing resources, feedback, and development opportunities they need to be successful - Address escalated concerns and questions in a timely and discreet manner - Manage total store operations, consisting of weekly gross sales of $2.5 million, during early morning, late evening, nighttime, and weekend hours and in the absence of Store or Assistant Store Managers - Collaborate with Store Leadership to set consistent and clear initiatives to further develop company focuses - Ensure the team properly uses equipment, handles products, keeps accurate logs, follows department job aids, food safety, human safety, and complies with Wegmans Policies and federal and state laws - Selectively recruit, interview, and hire new team members - Manage all bookwork, record keeping, and employee files by coordinating scheduling to appropriately complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner - Manage department operations, including supply ordering, scheduling, payroll, labor, and forecasting - Handle concerns or complaints, use managerial discretion when making exceptions to ensure customer satisfaction - Responsible for conducting corporate driven trainings, including piloting a new training that targets all employees to discuss values of diversity and inclusion - Encourage and organize cross-training opportunities that recognize employee interests and store needs, and utilize training programs to develop future leaders and maintain positive retention

- Responsible for piloting and establishing the role of e-Commerce Operations Manager with the objective of growing Wegmans e-Commerce business through merging programs, and once proven efficient, roll out to 115 Wegmans stores - Proactively identify areas of process improvement, and lead the successful implementation of these processes through team delegation, and managing by the numbers - Organize routine meetings and conference calls with corporate contacts to discuss program growth, opportunity, and financials - Create a training resource and program for a newly developed position, and function as the divisional trainer for the position of e-Commerce Operations Manager for 17 Wegmans stores - Pair with local businesses in a B2B system to boost sales and create positive rapport with local community - Set, share, and meet goals with the team and create excitement about new programs and products to drive sales- Manage all department operations, including ordering, scheduling, payroll, and forecasting, ensure the department runs efficiently, and maintain consistent two-way communication with team members and store management - Organize and present monthly divisional financial calls - Maintain department appearance and minimize shrink
