As a junior at Wellesley College, I study American Culture and Cinema and Media with a concentration in Black American audiovisual culture. With a broad history of occupation and extracurricular engagement, my skills range from team management to curation. Any opportunities concerning audiovisual and literary media, museum curation, art, and the humanities intrigue me! As a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, I embark on research analyzing the legacy of minstrelsy in 2010s sequential image social networking sites via production and distribution apparatuses. This allows me to combine my desire to contribute to the scholastic archive of 2010s culture, as well as analyze the contemporary media that raised me.
