After graduating from Bowie High School in 2018, I began my college journey at The University of Texas at San Antonio. I studied Computer Science for a year, gaining important programming, coding, and analytic skills, before deciding it wasn't the right fit. I then moved back to Austin for a couple of years, studying criminal justice and business. Being unsure of my desired career path, I gave a lot of thought to what peak my interest the most. This led me to apply and get accepted into the McCoy Business School at Texas State University. I have been studying at Texas State since 2021 and enjoyed every second of it. Throughout my time here, I have gained valuable information and skills regarding Business Management, Research Marketing, and Professional Selling. I have learned how to effectively manage my time and solve problems in group situations and independently. In addition to being a part-time student, I work part-time as a waitress at Waterloo Icehouse. My ability to be reliable is witnessed by my four years of experience selling food and drinks. This has allowed me to build a customer base that trusts my service skills and can promote repeat business, creating a better reputation for the company.In a fast-paced environment, I excel at operating and maintaining calm in challenging situations.
