Assistant to a lead teacher in a Montessori-based summer camp classroom at the early childhood level. This position has enabled me to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in Montessori teaching and learning and explore my interest in pursuing Montessori in my career path.

Providing childcare for a family with young children in Boston. Through this position, I am further developing skills in active learning, communication, judgment and decision making, and problem solving. Providing childcare in an attentive and child-centered manner is incredibly important, and a skill that I am continually focused on and driven towards.

Completed fieldwork in a first-grade Boston Public Schools classroom. Developed knowledge of first-grade level instructional and subject skills, how to assist a lead teacher, and to support a diverse range of students' social and cognitive development.

Hosted, food expedited, and served at a sit-down restaurant. This position established foundational skills for me in service-oriented practices, communication, time management, and multitasking which are all incredibly important as a professional in the education and human development field. Understanding how to better serve and communicate with others is crucial to working with children, parents, and professional teammates, while time management and multitasking are extremely necessary tools for being in the classroom.
