Within the Historic sites department for the City of Nacogdoches there are 3 locations that I got to work at. It was my job to stay refreshed on the history of each site in order to give educational tours. Whenever I was not giving tours, I was making sure the cleanliness of each site is up to standard or working on a project within our software system, CataloguIt. As a historic sites assistant I represented this department of the city of Nacogdoches.

At the Fredonia Hotel I was the point of communication between all guests and each department. In my role as the front desk assistant I fielded all calls coming into the hotel, made reservations, and assisted guests in checking into their rooms. In addition to these duties, I helped accommodate guests by being a source of information for everything from the history of the hotel, to any activities happening in town. This job allowed me to make connections with guests and serve them as best as I can.
