A grassroots collective of mostly Chicago educators, young people and families who curate and offer learning experiences around ethnic studies through creativity, stories and healing.

Our vision is a city where all BIPOC young people can see and hear themselves and their communities’ stories of love, joy, resistance and freedom at the center, not the margins, of our classrooms, schools and community spaces.

Led the design and development of an internal conflict resolution framework for the People Team to implement with internal staff.

Co-designing a well-being framework for educators grounded in collective care.

Advanced the district's strategy to expand inclusive and responsive practices in all K-12 classrooms and across decision-making systems and structures in schools and the district as articulated through the Instructional Core Vision, which centers identity, community and relationships, through adult professional learning.

Served as a Racial Equity Coach for the Truth, Healing & Equity (T.H.E.) Fellowship by supporting an organization, which includes a board member, senior level decision maker and direct staff members, in executing a racial equity organization assessment, creating an aspirational racial equity policy statement and designing a racial equity project that addresses a finding from their assessment.

Trained to facilitate racial healing circles using the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Framework and Racial Healing Circle methodologies, with individuals and organizations in the Chicagoland area.

Led the design of the program vision, plan and kick-off of the Teach 313 Tui Roper Fellowship (formally the Leading for Liberation Fellowship) with the Detroit Children's Fund leadership team, for teams of school leaders and teachers in Detroit schools, around abolitionist teaching approaches that support academic success and well-being for Detroit students.

Designed the vision, framework and program for a year-long collaboration between the University of Virginia's education team - Remaking Middle School - and Chicago middle school educators. Engagement included monthly, collaborative learning around adolescent developmental science and social justice experiences with young adolescents.
