I worked at The Observatory whilst studying at university. my role ranged from greeting customers, taking their food and drink order, making their drinks including cocktails, serving their food and drinks, forming bonds with the customers and keeping high cleaning standards.

Upheld store merchandising standards and the cleaning policies. Processing shipments and replenishing the shop floor.

My main roll was dealing with the customers, giving them a safety briefing, and immersing them in the story of the escape room they were about to enter, then giving them clues when necessary to help them escape. When quiet I would help with the upkeep and maintenance of the rooms.

I taught karate to people from the ages of 3 years old to adults. I had a DBS check and I was first aid trained. I did this three times a week and taught around 200-300 children a week. This started as a volunteer role until 2014 when it turned into a paid role.
