I am a Middle School Humanities Co-Teacher. I am responsible for providing instructional support to Humanities teachers by hosting writing conferences, designing supplemental learning opportunities, conducting reading assessments, and conferring with advisors about students' academic performances.I also aid in planning and preparing upcoming lessons. I also teach Humanities oriented electives for Grades 6 through 8. I am the lead instructor for Philosophy, Creative Writing, Poetry, and Women in Literature. Finally, I teach two sections of Grade 5 Latin.

I am responsible for writing academic study guides about prominent literary works. In this role, I am able to enrich a reader's experience with a text and make big picture concepts accessible for everyday readers, students, and educators. My strengths lie in character analysis and providing sociopolitical context for a given work.

Berkeley, Ca

As a Chief of Staff for ASUC Senator Carolyn Le, I helped oversee the office and its members. I managed a small team focused on advocacy work and external affairs. I established a partnership between ASUC and the Berkeley Rent Board, and organized workshops focusing on tenant's rights. I worked with members of the ASUC External Affairs Vote Coalition and the UC Berkeley Transfer Student Center to arrange a voter registration drive for transfer students. Finally, while these projects were ultimately cancelled due to COVID-19, I was the co-organizer of an event dedicated to educating transfer students about the census as well as an organizer for the UCSA Transfer Student Lobby Day, an event I co-founded in 2019.

As an intern in the Literary Department, I prepared script and book coverage for potential projects, managed calls via CallPlease, and rolled calls.

Berkeley, Ca

I handled communications and collaborate with the UC Student Association (UCSA), UC office of the President (UCOP), the State of California, and other UC campuses, as well as other ASUC offices and senators. I assisted other team members with relevant projects such as grant proposals and newspaper op-eds. In Spring 2019, I co-founded the UCSA Transfer Student Lobby Day, which gives other transfer students the opportunity to have discussions with California lawmakers about issues that directly affect their community.

Santa Cruz, California

I chaired the SUA Vision Committee and pushed for reforms to the SUA Constitution and Bylaws. I also planned and publicized events with the Internal Affairs Staff.
