Assisted Harvard Law School Professor Chris Desan in her work as Managing Editor of Just Money, which focuses on monetary design, debate, and reform.

Engaged in research, writing, and advocacy for Massachusetts Public Banking as part of an independent clinic at Harvard Law School. The organization leads the coalition campaign to create a public bank in Massachusetts and its mission is to support a range of economic development efforts in disadvantaged communities.

Wrote the biweekly newsletter for the Harvard LPE Association, and participated in meetings related to event planning, outreach, and other aspects of the organization. Personally facilitated three events including "Decolonizing Money" with Dr. Ndongo Samba Sylla.

The Online Editors review submissions and perform primary, final, bluebooking, and publishing edits on all pieces selected for publication.

The California Law Review is the preeminent legal publication at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. Founded in 1912, the journal publishes six times annually on a variety of engaging topics in legal scholarship. It is edited and published entirely by students at Berkeley Law.

Worked with the Office of Regional & Community Outreach on issues related to the impact of instant payments on low- to moderate-income communities as part of an independent clinic at Harvard Law School.

Assisted with strategic litigation for species conservation under mentorship of Amy Atwood, Senior Counsel. Focused primarily on the preservation of Coho salmon, a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.

Helped write the biweekly newsletter, host speakers, plan and facilitate meetings, perform student outreach, attend conferences, and strengthen partnerships with relevant groups and organizations.

California Lightweight Rowing has been a team at UC Berkeley since the early 1970s. The Cal Lightweights row out of the the boathouse shared with the Oakland Rowing Society situated on the Oakland Estuary.

Spent half of the week conducting remote research on environmental constitutionalism in the context of Indigenous nations within the present-day borders of the United States for YCELP, and the other half working in-person as a summer associate at a small law firm in Rhode Island.

Performed research on environmental and social issue shareholder proposals to be voted on at annual shareholder meetings of publicly traded companies.Developed an understanding of corporate environmental and social sustainability issues, including human rights, animal welfare, climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, political contributions and lobbying, and sustainability reporting.

Traveled to Washington, D.C. to lobby lawmakers to address restrictions on academic freedom in China and to advocate for Ilham Tohti, Rawile Dawut, and Abdulqadir Jalaleddin. Researched the cases of the scholars and compiled the research into fact sheets in order to prepare lobbyists for meetings with Congressional staffers.  Co-authored an advocacy report, which outlined the imprisoned scholars’ cases and the human rights and political situation in China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR), explained the group’s advocacy strategy, detailed the actions taken, and recommended future paths for advocacy.

Facilitated freely chosen, self-directed, and intrinsically motivated play at General Street and Bucklin Parks, in Providence, Rhode Island.Led a team of 2 associates and kept extensive logs.Helped to catalyze the PlayCorps BackPack Program.

Organized creative play and helped with homework during after school hours at Saint Joseph School in Bronxville, New York.Provided classwork and reading help during one-on-one instruction in a second grade special education classroom at Highview Elementary School. Provided homework and reading help to children at the Yonkers Public Library.

Completed training on conflict resolution, risk versus hazard, nature exploration, and other components of adventure play. Fostered teamwork skills by working in a team of 3.
