As a 2nd year student at QUT I enrolled in the WILS program. I applied for a junior graphic designer internship and was to complete 100 hours with When Freddie Met Lilly with 2 other interns. After the 100 hours were completed I was asked to stay onboard as the companies Marketing Manager, Social Media Content Creator and Graphic Designer.

Being my first internship, working at When Freddie Met Lilly supplied me with the knowledge and understanding of how a successful business is run and operates daily. I got to experience working with professionals in the bridal industry and learning what it takes to operate and adapt to fast-paced environments. I was supported by a close-knit network and built my skills and confidence. My responsibilities during the internship included: - Designing and posting multiple social media posts daily- Corresponding with clients and companies on a daily basis- Building and designing InDesign magazine and brochure layouts- Aided in styling and dressing models during photoshoots and runways- Assisting manager during client meetings
