I have created and managed a wide variety of K-12 curriculum projects, including: • Turnaround for Children: Social & Emotional Toolkits Created research-backed toolkits to teach key SEL skills. Developed information for teachers and parents, wrote lesson plans, and created worksheets for students in grades K-12. • Curriculum Associates: EL Editor for 6-8 Math Worked as an EL editor for a 6-8 mathematics curriculum. Used Understanding Language’s Mathematical Language Routines and ELSF’s guidelines to write and edit supports for English Learners.• Goalbook: K-2 Curriculum Development Wrote formative assessment items and integrated projects for grades K-8 based on the math and ELA Common Core State Standards. Use Universal Design for Learning to write differentiation strategies for all learners, including ELLs. • Insight Education Group: ELA Common Core Units Developed 1st-grade math and 4th-grade ELA Common Core units for the myCore online platform. The scope and sequence of each grade level covered every math/ELA Common Core Standard. • Safe Routes to School: Integrated K-8 Curriculum Worked with the San Mateo & Alameda County Offices of Education to create math and ELA Common-Core aligned Safe Route to School curriculum for grades 6-8. Revised K-5 curriculum, adding an integration section and aligning the curriculum to the CCSS.• Camp Galileo: Science & Art Curriculum Wrote science curriculum for pre-kindergarteners, focusing on architecture and urban design and art curriculum for pre-kindergartners, focusing on modern art and mythology. • National Novel Writing Month: K-2 Lessons Developed novel writing curriculum for use in K-2 classrooms across the country.• California Healthy Kids Resource Center: Integrated Nutrition/ELA/Math Curriculum Wrote integrated math and nutrition curriculum and integrated reading and nutrition curriculum for use in schools across California. Developed engaging, CCSS-aligned lessons for grades K-12
