As the LGBTQ+ Health Justice Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin's Center for Patient Partnerships, I work to advance the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ communities through advocacy, research, and education. I collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to develop and implement initiatives that address the health disparities and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people, including improving access to gender affirming care in the state of Wisconsin. Previously, I was a Quality Manager at Epic, where I designed and tested population health software that improved the care and outcomes for diverse and underserved populations. I also co-coordinated the Sex, Gender, and Names workgroup, which aimed to remove bias and enhance inclusivity in the software. I have a Master's degree in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of Arizona, where I studied human sexuality as part of my study abroad program. I am passionate about creating equitable and accessible solutions that address the health disparities and challenges in the industry.
