I am a public health specialist with three year’s professional experience. Dedicated to health prevention and communication, I have experience working in nutrition, maternal and child health and physical fitness. I have strong skills in program promotion and project management, having served as liaison to Fit NOLA strategic partnership management and project planner for the Up2Us afterschool program promoting youth healthy eating and physical fitness. Further, I excel at interpersonal communication in both clinical and community settings. Currently as a certified medical interpreter for multiple hospitals, I facilitate communication between patients and nurses, social workers, and physicians in order to ensure the best and most effective healthcare services. I collaborated with admission officers to provide student counseling and maintain communication for student enrollment. I also have social media marketing and fund raising experience for International Youth Fellowship, including event planning, creating marketing strategy and developing sponsorships and donations. Working as a team, we successfully achieved the goal by raising $10,000 for the organization in New Orleans area. As for technical skills, I have extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs, and I also have experience for data collection and analysis by utilizing SPSS and SAS, which allows me to quickly learn new software technologies for my future career.
