Currently completing the final year of my joint honours degree in Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Glasgow. During my university career, I have developed and demonstrated numerous transferable skills through my studies in ancient history and archaeology. I have developed strong leadership and management abilities, learning to lead teams and make strategic decisions. Teamwork and collaboration have been central to training, encouraging a sense of both collective and personal responsibility. The necessity of self-discipline has made me dependable and trustworthy. I have honed my problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling me to adapt quickly to changing situations. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, have been crucial in ensuring clear and efficient information exchange, especially in high-pressure situations. Additionally, I have built resilience in addition to stress management techniques, which are essential in fast-paced environments. My time management and organisational skills are well developed, highlighting punctuality and efficient planning, as well as remaining flexible for last-minute changes. Finally, my experience in diverse environments has enhanced my adaptability.I have recently taken up the role of International Support Officer for the international cadets who attend the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. It is a temporary role aimed at graduating UOTC cadets to gain insight into and experience the working world for a term or two at the Sandhurst Academy Headquarters. The role involves supporting the cadets administratively, as well as networking with international visitors and organising visits to the academy alongside senior officers.
