For this position, I worked closely with newspaper editors and designers to produce print and online newspaper editions. I arranged stories, selected photos, wrote and edited headlines and trimmed content if needed. As head of my group, I was responsible for making sure 4 newspapers (West Central Tribune, Mitchell Republic, Rochester Post-Bulletin and Worthington Globe) were sent to press by deadline. Along with this task, I proofread newspaper pages to make sure they adhered to company and AP style. I was also responsible for pulling stories (related to Nation and World news, business and entertainment) from wire services and preparing them for all company publications. I was also part of the style committee, which regulates company style across all publications.

During my time at Jennings Social Media & Martech, I wrote, edited and scheduled social media posts and blogs for a variety of clients.

As a business plan reviewer at SkillPath, I read, edited, and graded business plans for students taking the Advanced Business Management class with UBT.

During my final semester at Mizzou, I worked with designers at the Columbia Missourian to create newspaper pages that were seen in both print and digital formats.

During the fall 2017 semester, I worked on the community outreach team at the Columbia Missourian. I helped manage social media pages (Facebook and twitter), gathered website analytics, and created content for the Columbia Missourian.

During the summer 2017 semester, I worked at the interactive copy desk at the Columbia Missourian. I wrote social media posts, and edited stories for local and AP style for print and digital articles.

I was a community and general assignment reporter for the Columbia Missourian, covering local stories in Columbia, Missouri.
