•Responsible for coordinating communications between Ontario Volunteer Centres (VCs) and the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship Immigration and International Trade (MCIIT) for the ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge (CTW), a partnership project between MCIIT and the Ontario Volunteer Centre Network (OVCN)•Work with participating 23 Volunteer Centre’s across the province by providing program and youth engagement coaching/support to help them meet their youth engagement targets and goals•Initiate a provincial strategy to promote CTW/local VC initiatives/youth engagement, and to explore sponsorships and/or partnerships to help support the campaign

•Managed and supervised overall day –to- day operations and logistics for a community development and capacity building initiative, two-site portfolio project (80,000 SQ/FT). This consisted of 11 different highly established non-profit organizations, including the United Way of Peel Region. Responsibilities included: coordinating and overseeing steering committees, worked along side Board of Directors and CEO’s of each organization to report progress and developments of both sites, and give capital expenditure recommendations•Liaised with outside parties such as engineers, designers, contractors, and realtors to ensure a successful launch of both community development sites•Planned all aspects for the official launch for Community Door Network Services, creating the invites, coordinating the logistics, press release, speakers, VIP guests, set-up, and volunteer management

•Supervised newcomer and Canadian youth volunteers ages 13-24 as well as staff members to stage and promote exciting youth events, programs, workshops, and activities in Peel/Halton region. This program encouraged the youth to integrate into society, discover and utilize their skills, and gain leadership abilities•Liaised with community organizations, school boards, and other service providers through attendance at community and networking events, supporting and emphasizing the importance of community volunteering and youth participation •Successfully planned Youth Exchanges first ever, “Youth Exchange Idol” with over 300 guests attendance, over 25 volunteers, and special guests including press, top radio personalities, and Canadian musicians

•Provided one-to-one casework assistance to over 150 clients, consisting of both youth and adults who have been sentenced to perform a specified number of community service hours as a part of a Probation or Sentence Order.
