Student Experience Officer for the Division of Human and Social Sciences and the Division for the Study of Law, Society and Social Justice. In this role I work with academics, professional services colleagues and students to develop and improve the student experience at the University of Kent. My main areas of focus include: Student Communications, Student Voice and Events.

Project manager for University front-line information service (Nexus) to provide support for students to enhance the Student Experience.Duties involved: line managing a team of receptionists and managing the day-to-day operation of the reception help desk. Event organisation, developing new departmental processes, producing monthly data reports and producing marketing and communications content.

Voluntary role during my Master's degree as the Lead Editor of the University of Kent's Postgraduate Literary Journal 'Litterae Mentis'. As the Editor in Chief I organised the Call for Papers, main contact for the Academic Peer-reviews and journal contributors, lead submission proof-reader, organised and led weekly editorial team meetings, organised the production and finances of the journal and submitting the journal to the University library and the British library.

Support the University's Divisional Librarians in reviewing module reading lists across all subjects for the new academic term. This involved checking available stock in the library, acquiring additional print materials and e-resources using University affiliated providers, proof-reading reading lists and logging new donations to the University library.

Customer-facing facilities management and receptionist role. Duties involve; maintaining student card databases and spreadsheets including key logs and lost property catalogues, signposting services, general building maintenance and upkeep, and managing library borrowing accounts.

Customer-facing role providing assistance during Welcome Week and Open Day activities. Worked on the Reception for the Careers and Employability Service on a weekly basis from March - June where my duties involved customer-facing receptionist duties and individual project work collecting student feedback from Careers events and creating reports based on this feedback.
