I started my own design firm in 2010. LILY Z DESIGN INC. LILYZDESIGN.COMI was responsible for marketing and promoting my company. Researching ways to get clients, through social media and out of the box thinking of creative ways to get potential clients attentions throughout the metropolitan New York area.Responsible for all project coordination and management : incld my employees (2-3 team members) from meeting the client interviews, to presentations incld CAD, to installation, order placements and sourcing materials, to project budgeting, meeting for subcontractor, contractor bidding. Carrying the project from conceptual to reality. We worked on Commercial and High-End Residential projects throughout Brooklyn & Manhattan.I was responsible for sending business contracts, and invoicing my own clients, and project tallies, using google drive/ excel spread sheets.Designed new on-brand visual elements to effectively convey concepts and messaging.some additional responsibilities incld: Translated complex concepts and data into compelling visuals for media outreach. Monitored production schedules while adhering to assigned budgets. Mentored new members of design staff during on boarding. Designed advertisements, tradeshow banners and signage from concept through completion. Suggested styling techniques to video production team.
