I am a writer, storyteller, and messenger called to address complex topics with a unique blend of truthfulness and creativity. I have a decade of experience with persuasive/creative writing and public speaking, including my experience as a TEDx speaker in 2024.As a child, I never hesitated to step up in front of a crowd to share a word of encouragement, recite a Bible memory verse, or pray for the people around me. Faith was a part of my DNA and storytelling was a natural expression of it. One of the most important things that was ever done for me was my parents sitting next to me before I fell asleep and reminding me every good thing that was true about me. Now, it's my turn to remind people what is true.My business, Bespoke Expressions, allows me to use my love of words and my deep belief in the significance of every human life to help overwhelmed clients write beautiful speeches for weddings, funerals, and other major life events. I created this business in while finishing my undergraduate program and received the Robert O. Clouse Innovation Award for its conception. My work as the Assistant Director of Career Development allows me to support students in the first steps of their professional journey. Using the skills I learned as a Public Relations major, I developed our department's first comprehensive communications calendar and revamped our Instagram and informational websites. Leading workshops and creating content surrounding LinkedIn profile building, interview skills, resume-writing, and personal branding is one of the joys of my job.In Fall of 2024, I will begin working toward my Master's in Conflict Management and receive training in Rule 31 mediation. Strategic thinking, purpose-driven connection, and communication are my greatest strengths.I am always eager to welcome clients with writing and speaking projects, and seeking opportunities to speak on topics such as growing courage, overcoming shame, and pursuing reconciliation. Opportunities to lead career development-related workshops or seminars are also welcome!
