Peer Inclusion Educators (PIE) is dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment by addressing issues surrounding personal awareness of social identities, power, privilege, oppression, and social justice with peers at Northwestern. At PIE, I created curriculum, facilitated workshops, and collaborated with partner organizations to help them reflect on how to make their culture a more inclusive one.

Under the Office of Community Education Partnerships, the primary role of the office is to effectively connect the resources of both institutions in order to enhance the educational experience of students at both Northwestern University and Evanston Township High School.There are four main focuses of the NU/ETHS Partnership Office: diversity in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), STEAM (which is STEM integrated with art and design), college access and career preparation, and identity and social consciousness.

Books & Breakfast is a free before school program offering a nutritious breakfast, homework assistance, and emotional care to Evanston students in need of additional support. B&B exists so that every student enters their classroom physically, emotionally and academically prepared.

Selected as one of seven interns in Kode With Klossy’s 2023 intern cohort to be a key player in executing in KWK’s flagship summer program.- Supported the Kode With Klossy team in creating and maintaining operational systems, databases, and key resources throughout summer programming- Collaborated on logistics and operational oversight for over 11,000 lunches for all 31 in-person programming locations across the United States and London, including all allergies and dietary restrictions- Created user-friendly documentation and training materials, enhancing team efficiency in using software tools.- Managed and organized a database of over 5,000 program contacts, improving data accuracy by implementing data cleaning and validation processes- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills by resolving timely lunch issues- Adapted to new software tools and systems efficiently, requiring minimal guidance and contributing to team productivity

Evanston Grows is a collective impact organization focused on reducing food insecurity in Evanston through increasing access to locally-grown produce and building community connections. As an intern, I collaborate with others to lead the weekly free produce farmstand, totaling 60k in organic produce distribution overall this year. I also manage social media platforms, and increased follower engagement by 95%. Additionally, I care for gardens around the community by engaging with volunteers and harvesting produce.

Mentored over 180 female, non-binary, and trans students over 4 summers in HTML, CSS, and JSSelected from a competitive pool of applicants exhibiting proficiency in one or more programming languages and a passion for empowering young women and non-binary individualsCollaborated with a team of instructors and instructor assistants throughout two-week summer coding camps to deliver lessons, provide technical support, and build an empowering communityEnsured scholar understanding of and proficiency in website development coding skills by responding to scholar feedback, facilitating remediation lessons, and supporting scholars throughout their learning and project developmentFostered a positive, inclusive classroom culture by leading team-building activities and discussions about the culture of technology

Emerge Leadership Program is a student-driven and student-led program at Evanston Township High School in which participants drive community change through asset-based community development, leading to collaborative partnerships with local community organizations and with each other.

Facilitator at Kode With Klossy Campus, a pilot program guiding female and non-binary students through HTML, CSS, and JS.Mentoring 12 girls based in the Chicago and Chicagoland area, hosting weekly meetings.Collaborated with one other Facilitator and the Kode With Klossy team to deliver 10 weeks of lessons, provide technical support, and build an empowering community
