I designed eye-catching posters and social media graphics to promote events and engage the company’s target audience. I managed the @emcmnola Instagram and Ellis Marsalis Center for Music Facebook by taking pictures for these accounts, engaging with followers, and curating a pleasing feed. I helped establish a new brand identity for the company that launched in January 2024, including new colors, a new logo, and a new website. I facilitated a content calendar to ensure an engaging online presence for the organization. Lastly, I worked the Center's monthly concert series, press conferences, and philanthropy events.

I developed an updated brand identity through Tulane University Campus Programming’s social media accounts. I increased engagement for the organization’s events through managing the @geauxtucp Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts, and increased Instagram followers by over 1,000. I created a new TikTok account for the organization and gained 200 followers on this brand-new account. I crafted in-depth marketing plans, including giveaways, partnerships with other organizations around campus, and clues to future events. Lastly, I coordinated event operations with booked talent to ensure everything ran smoothly.

I researched media outlets that focus on the entertainment and music scene of various cities and collected notes and contact information of those media outlets. I worked with Avada Website Builder and Adobe Creative Cloud to help design the Jazz Crawl website and adjust photos taken. I also worked with Microsoft excel to organize my research findings and developments.

I worked Weekends (8 – 16 hours a week) at West Elm, sold furniture other housewares to customers, helped customers with any questions, met sales goals, worked the cash register, and helped with setup and cleanup through opening and closing the store.

I represented Congresswoman Barbara Lee’s Office by greeting visitors at the front desk, answered constituent phone calls, attended hearings, organized and distributed mail, delivered documents to the Capitol, and summarized legislative recommendations and congratulatory letters. After the internship, I created a capstone video exploring congressional solutions for access to universal education and presented at The Madeira School.

I created interactive activities for 3-5-year-old students, helped teacher set up activities, completed daily chores including cleaning and setting tables. After the internship, I developed a proposed app to help with the communication between teachers and parents at Head start and presented at The Madeira School.
