Edeniq is a venture-backed biotechnology company. We are helping ethanol plants become more profitable and sustainable through the production of lower-carbon fuel. We developed a zero-capex technology that every ethanol producer can use.

Our team covered solar, biofuels/biochemicals, lithium-ion batteries (for electric vehicles), smart grid, and energy storage. We built the coverage from scratch, and we valued many innovative clean energy companies with unique products and business models.

I was in the first cohort of this interdisciplinary Ph.D. program that combined economics, environmental science, and public policy. I published peer-reviewed articles and reports on energy, clean energy, climate, and the urban environment. My research was supported by the NSF IGERT Program, and I collaborated with the World Bank and the International Energy Agency.

I worked with a leading research team studying climate impacts and adaptation. My specific research focus was on my local surroundings - New York City and New York State.

I was part of a wonderful community at a K-12 international school. I directed the outdoor education program and taught environmental science.

I spent the summer based at City Hall in New Rochelle, New York. I analyzed greenhouse gas emissions and mitigation policies for the city. I also plotted out a cycling route so that I could reverse commute from Hamilton Heights (in Upper Manhattan) to New Rochelle.

I contributed research for The Encyclopedia of Rainforests, and I helped out with the education program. I started out as a summer intern, and then I worked part-time during the school year.
