Hello. My name is Hong Yee, a year 1 student pursuing a Diploma in Engineering Science in NP, alumni of SST.Since young, I have a strong passion for the STEAM field. My passion started from tinkering and experimenting with mathematical and scientific concepts, which has deepened my curiosity and allowed me to gain a new perspective on the relationships and applications of various concepts. This has sparked me to partake in a wide variety of personal projects such as building my own audio amplifier, learning web development and more. These projects stretch my mind and are passion-driven, allowing me to learn something new while partaking in what I enjoy.I have participated in programs such as Balloon Satellite, Discover Space programme, James Dyson Foundation RoboRoarZ Competition and more, which have led me to gain deeper insight and expand my knowledge about all things engineering. Through this course, I hope to learn more about the nuances of electrical engineering and coding, while pursuing my passion in math by exploring the subject.I am also currently pursuing grade 8 for violin.
