* Wozjobs Connection was founded in July 2023, with a primary focus on advancing quantum computing research. Our main goal is to develop a functional quantum computer to tackle various challenges across industries like AI/AGI, climate technology, energy, pharmaceuticals, defense, finance, and others. Presently, Wozjobs Connection has successfully formalized an agreement and partnered with Taylor's University Impact Lab to delve deeper into their joint research objectives.The organization's inception was driven by my intense passion for quantum fields, especially quantum computing. Recognizing the absence of labs in Malaysia dedicated to building a functional photonic quantum computer, I was motivated and determined to fill this void.The journey to establish such an organization, especially at a very young age, proved to be an arduous task. Many professors and heads of the School of Engineering/Computer Science were initially hesitant to collaborate due to the perceived lack of professional background of a 19-year-old high school student, who was taking his gap year. This skepticism mirrored the challenges faced by me in gaining their trust and support.Numerous efforts were made by me to initiate collaborations, including sending approximately 20 different emails and visiting over 5 universities in person. Discussions were held with about 10 professors from different universities and various academic roles, such as heads/directors of research labs, directors of research management centers, etc. The lengthy waiting period for their responses, typically around 2 months, was followed by an additional 2 months to actively pursue and negotiate potential collaborations.* Despite the initial challenges, a partnership was successfully established with Taylor's University Impact Lab. Two professors from other universities have also shown similar interest in future collaborations, demonstrating a growing network of support for Wozjobs Connection's endeavors.
