I am a Year 2 Engineering Systems student at Singapore Institute of Technology.My current degree studies have provided me with broad proficiency in the various engineering concepts. I have a strong interest in the semiconductor industry and I have selected the Microelectronics Manufacturing specialization that is offered by this course.During the final year of my diploma studies, I undertook a 22 week internship at Goodrich Aerostructures(Collins Aerospace) in the Materials Management department. Throughout my internship, I volunteered to help out in other departments after completing my tasks to learn more about the different processes and how the company operates as a whole.I served as an Admin Support Assistant during National Service and I was in charge of manpower and operations for over 300 troopers spread out in 14 different guardrooms across the western sector of Singapore. Through this experience, I learnt to be meticulous in my work and I was able to communicate effectively between the various stakeholders.
