I was based out of SIngapore with frequent travels to Indonesia and China.As a materials manager , I specified on the materials to be used on products especially in the areas of stainless steel. As a technical support engineer, I created technical and quality inspection specificatios for new as well as exisiting products. Resolving occasional technical issues was part of the routine. I was based out of China , Dongguan manufacturing facilities and involved in day-to-day visual inspection on products in the factory before shipment. During the first year, I assited in setting up a testing laboratory in China and executed routine testing on products in production. i also helped to bridged communication between sales office in US / Europe and our suppliers in China.
