• Key member of manufacturing line OEE improvement projects to development and implement line improvement solutions and process capabilities. • Support organizational development in process engineering for new product development/ line retrofitting, pilot production and capacity expansion for BD worldwide business and manufacturing operations. • Support project manager in providing engineering inputs on Design for Automated Assembly (DFAA) during product development and contribute in product FMEA.• Identify and perform process technology assessment and studies for new automated or retrofit processes. • Execution of pilot run of POC design stations with established or new specification and acceptance criteria. • Execute process development activities utilizing Six-sigma Methodology.• Conduct and prepare process FMEA documentation.• Design and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) for POC assessment.• Develop and conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) for inspection devices. • Coordinate design and build of prototype equipment to support pilot production.• Prepare test procedures, work instruction and verification or validation protocol.• Execute process validation and compile completion report. • Preparation for technical review by corporate functional team. • Responsible for new process, equipment for electrical component assembly set up for new product and conduct testing and qualification using MVT/IOPQ qualification tools• Perform calibration devices and testing hardware buy-off, repair and maintenance • Perform tester, equipment preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functional mechanical or electrical issues • Responsible for process, equipment WI, Safety procedure creation, update, and revise• Perform RA for the new/existing process and equipment safety review• Responsible for the production line stations FPY, OEE and quality issues by studying the root cause using root cause analysis tools like DMAIC, fishbone diagram. • Works with Internal Supplier Engineer to resolve supplier inbound quality issues such as non-conforming materials and assembly of electrical components. (MRB Process)• Works with Quality Engineer on the outbound quality control goal to reduce the scrap cost of the line by improving the process & equipment of the production line • Work with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and vendor to support Safety, Quality, Cost reduction and Improvement projects.• Supports Engineering Changes (ECO) and Advance Deviation Request (ADR) implementation • Leader/ key member for the equipment & process improvement, automation transformation and warehouse capacity improvement projects • Owner for engineering team capital expenditure (CAPEX) record and tracking for new equipment installation or replacement
