PENinsula is an annual literary journal celebrating writers and landscape from the Mornington Peninsula. Issue one, out in December 2020, is a combination of nature writing, personal essays and short fiction with a strong connection to landscape.

In 2018, Desperate Literature launched a literary prize for short fiction in collaboration with the De Groot Foundation and Civitella Ranieri. The inaugural prize had 460 entrants and which the Prize Team to form a shortlist of 11. The subsequent anthology will be published in April 2018.

Scoping Spanish capacity in the Smart City sector, liaising with Spanish investors and promoting Australia. Collaboration across Austrade’s Western European team to prepare for an Australian delegation to the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. Condensing large and varied amounts of information into talking points or market snapshots. Preparing speeches for the Senior Trade Commissioner, preparing internal press articles and external media releases.

Managing a textbook web store for one of Australia’s largest universities. Advised buyers on expected textbooks sales, maintained supply chain from publisher to student. Responsible for all online communications. Proficient in BookNet.

Pioneering Robinsons Bookshop’s Community Initiatives: coordinating all literary events, managing school and library relationships and creating a corporate, community partnership with the Ardoch Youth Foundation to support literacy programs in local, disadvantaged primary schools.
