Together with the lean but feisty Earth Hour Global team, we achieved globally more than 70,000 on-ground events, 620,000 individual actions taken, and 6 legislative outcomes to change climate change in 2015.As the Assistant Manager for Team Operations, I was responsible for developing Earth Hour's crowdfunding campaigns. I supported 9 local teams at conceptualisation, development and marketing of their projects. These projects helped to raise awareness and funds to tackle climate change through on-ground solutions such as - wood-saving stoves to help protect Uganda's protected Earth Hour forests, replanting Portugal's cork oak trees to fight climate change and protect Mediterranean's largest aquifer, saving tigers in Asia while protecting their forest habitats, etc. Show less
