A junior data scientist who taking MSc. Data Science and Analytics in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Been working freelance as an ecommerce business analyst that responsible to perform online business activities analysis and identify trends across the customer from the online platform. Providing recommendations and insightful action plan to boost sales and additional traffic is my main goal.Completion of the Bachelor's Degree in Health Science at USM has brought up a "new me" that equipped with good interpersonal skills. Involvement in various events and leading up multi-background teams has molded me with better leadership and negotiation skills. Effective time management even played the main role as I was sandwiched between academics and co-curriculum. I enjoyed giving educational talks regardless of the background of the audience. I always believe sharing is one of the ways we gain.Research study on "Knowledge and Practice of Newborn Care among Postnatal Mothers in Hospital USM" marked the end of my Bachelor's Degree study life but not my interest in data and statistics! This is the point where I exposed to biostatistics with SPSS, superficially. Since then, I learned data science from online courses and started up my freelance analytics job with minimal pay or even none. I faced several challenges due to programming language unfamiliarity and data issues. I get myself equipped with data analytics skills with Python and R. With no doubt, the analytics dashboard is a common need for most of the company, thus here I came across Power BI. Data visualization is my favorite part of data science, where art and science took place simultaneously. Everything can be revealed and interpretive from a visual.This freelance job doesn't stop me from learning. I decided to enhance my data science knowledge from a coursework-based course in USM - Data Science and Analytics. From here, I realized how a big gap in educational difference from Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree. Despite following a guide or rule, we are allowed to think critically and creatively in a holistic way, with no fixed right or wrong answer, and this is the reason I like science.
