Worked closely with USA and Australia-based peers from draft to final edit to create locally tailored versions of presentations that communicated accessible scientific content. Drafted and presented design concepts. Created technically accurate and visually arresting digital assets.

Farmers Market sales representative for a local, small, B-Corp certified business. Handled booth set up and display, product sales, cash and card transactions, and keeping meticulous records of sales in a fast-paced customer service environment. In addition, took on a role in the sauerkraut production kitchen, and worked quickly, safely, and cleanly in a team-centered commercial kitchen. Additionally picked up responsibilities in online order fulfilment (packing and shipping) using online shipping tools and internal inventory systems. Additionally handled bulk product delivery to local businesses as needed.

Educated customers about tea culture and tea preparation. Served a variety of hot andiced drinks with a warm attitude. Handled cash and operated a POS system. Ran shop errands. Performed regular cleaning and sanitization tasks. Designed digital graphics for marketing material. Trained staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures, specializing in closing shift responsibilities training. Set up and maintained pressurized, often carbonated, beverage cooling and dispensing equipment (Kegerator).

Supervised different teams of camp counselors over seven week-long sessions of summercamp. Scheduled camp activities for campers and break schedules for staff under me. Represented the Girl Scouts brand to hundreds of youth ages 6 to 18. Successfully created a fun, educational, and memorable camp experience for kids from all backgrounds, many of whom were experiencing their first days away from home, and being very brave about it.

Fulfilled a caregiving capacity with a coordinated team of other Direct Support Professionals, in order to support a select group of disabled people living in their home. Trained in CPR, First Aid, Facilitated Communication techniques, HIPAA compliance standards, and presently holding a Washington state Nursing Delegation certificate. Handled accurate medication distribution on a strict schedule, and facilitated use of accessibility tools. Kept accurate and detailed records about finances, medications, and any other client-relevant information as part of a coordinated team effort.

Editing, research, social media, filing. Used SALSA (www.salsalabs.com) nonprofit fundraising software, built surveys in Kwiksurvey, and used Google Drive and Hangouts as part of a team communication toolkit.

Primarily handled onboarding client data entry. Edited existing tutorial content and wrote new content as needed for Haiku Learning's (now PowerSchool Learning) Zendesk that is used internally by staff and externally by clients.

Assisted with gallery-quality kaleidoscope design and manufacturing. Used power tools and hand tools to turn wood, glass, and metal into beautiful and technically challenging kinetic sculptures. Assisted with graphic design, proofing and editing, and was social media lead. Performed order fulfilment tasks in order to safely ship delicate items, often to international customers.

Responsible for shelving and maintaining fiction, non-fiction, and biography sections. Assisted students with research practices and in using the computers. Designed and arranged topical, informational, and creative displays on a frequent basis. Used a barcode scanner to inventory thousands of books.

Worked summers on the sales team. Maintained and improved displays, used POS system and inventory software that is hilariously outdated by today's standards (typing in seven-digit codes!), counted up till money, and prepped it for bank deposit. Used physical filing systems to organize client account information.
