As a college counselor, I discussed with high school students about their demands about futrue college life, and teach college couselling class to about 200 students from Grade 10 to 12. Meanwhile, with my manager and collegues help, I helped about 70 students' undergraudate application in past two years. Considering their academic profile (Average 92-97 TOEFL, 1350-1400 SAT, with only one to two 4+ AP scores), their results are satisfactory. 70% of students we serviced will received an offer from USNEWS Top 50 Universities. We received one offer from Bates College, two from University College London, 5 from UCSB, 4 from UCSD from 2018-2019 Application Season until now. In addtion, this year we received 6 offers from UW Seattle, ranked top 2 in our province. Meanwhile, we serviced two students under China National Curriculum, and pass the independent recruitment process of NYU Shanghai, and Duke Kunshan Universtiy, with only 5-10% acceptance rate.My career plan is to have deep understanding about college application, and help my students (maybe my future clients) to got a better oppotunity in future college life. On the other hand, how to transfer professional knowledge to useful content to communicate with my students is another point I care about.
