About Lin Sheppard

After spending just one year in Corporate America when I got my MBA, I knew I wanted to work for myself and not make money for others. So, I embarked on a 40-year career as an entrepreneur, during which I started or co-started more than 10 successful businesses. In 2009, a single business failure almost wiped us out financially. As most entrepreneurs do when they’re knocked down, I picked myself up and started again. That’s when I found the power of networking, which helped me turn my life around and has afforded me the time and freedom to pursue my many other life adventures and new business opportunities.In 2022, I met Rowaiye Olanrewaju (aka Larry Rowbs), a young gentleman living in Uganda. Larry spent five years in India getting a bachelor's and master's degree and has spent 12 years in the fashion industry. Five years ago, Larry recognized a problem - the fashion industry, and specifically fast fashion, is poluting our environment.
